Which is better, the book or the film of the book?
Books have helped us to understand our past and have existed for centuries. Thanks to them, the world has evolved and our ancestors' knowledge has been perpetuated. Televisions are the image of our future and are present in every house. A tv-set is becoming more and more indispensable to more and more people.
For a lot of people reading a book is a means of escaping from reality. Moreover, the pleasure lasts a long time. You can read anywhere, even if you are surrounded by people. Books contain more details, therefore you can visualize the characters, see the landscapes described, using your imagination. With books you learn new vocabulary and you can improve your spelling.
But other people will say that a book is expensive and that there are more and more books which are disappointing. For these people, reading a book is boring, so they prefer to watch the film based on the book.
Films can be a short social activity. More emotions emanate from films because the movie-goer see the emotions displayed on the characters' faces. However, films do not always respect the story of the book. The end is often different.
Personally, I think books are better than the films based on them. I started reading when I was young and I still like reading now. It is a real pleasure for me. In every aspect, reading has made my life richer. Reading allows me to escape from reality. Thanks to books, I have a lot of imagination. In my opinion, the film of the book has little value. It is only a rehash of a story that has already been told in words. It is the easy way out.
Finally, I agree that we must evolve with the modern world, but let us not forget that old methods are often the most enriching. Nothing is worth a good book.(LC 2001)

A woman may want to get an abortion for many reasons. The woman may be too young or too old. It may be the wrong time in her life. She may be single and lack financial and emotional support. She may also have too many other responsibilities. Her baby is likely to be born with serious disabilities. She is pregnant as a result of rape or incest. She has no home or secure base. She has a serious disease which would be made worse by pregnancy; there is a hereditary disease in her or her partner's family. She has a large family already. Lastly she may have relationship or marriage problems.
Pro-choicers support the legality of abortions. They view abortion as a civil rights matter they think it is a decision that should be left up to an informed woman and her physician. A woman has the right to choose in the matter of abortion based on her own religious and ethical beliefs and her physician's guidance. Feminist organizations, liberal religious groups, etc. favor abortion access, so that any woman can choose to have an abortion after consultation with her medical, spiritual, and other advisors.
Some believe that a woman should have free access to abortions up until fetal viability; others say that a woman should be able to choose to have an abortion later in pregnancy.
We believe that young people need to know the facts in order to minimize the stress caused by an unwanted pregnancy.

Living in the city v. the country
Are you more of a city individual or a country individual? Some people are fonder of life in the city rather than the country or vice versa because of many different factors. One factor is the pace of living; some people prefer a fast paced city life compared to the slower, more relaxed pace in the country. Population is also a factor; people may desire to live in a densely populated area similar to the city rather than a sparsely populated one similar to the country. Another factor may be transportation; large cities tend to have public transportation that chauffeurs people throughout the city, where in the country that kind of transportation is either not needed or is not provided. These factors influence the way people make decisions on whether to live in either an urban or a rural area.
The fast paced city life offers more entertainment, sports, shopping, and career opportunities than a slow, more relaxed country life.

The city life offers many means of public transportation; which includes taxis, buses, subways, and airports. I hope that this essay has informed you on a few of the many factors that influence where people live. Some people feel more secure knowing that their neighbors are in close proximity. Country life means you have the opportunity to raise much of your own food, be it from a garden or livestock. The population of an area can carry a lot of weight when it comes to choosing a place to live, whether in the city or in the country. It seems that the more highly educated an individual is, the more likely it will be that they will be more inclined to live in the city because of higher incomes and business advantages.
Many different factors influence the decision on whether an individual prefers the city life rather than the country life, this essay highlighted 3 of these factors. Rarely do individuals own private cars because of the lack of parking facilities, the increased cost of gasoline, and, unless you are one of the fortunate few, who have garage facilities, occurrences of car theft and vandalism is high. Financially challenged people have more opportunities in the city by getting help from the many agencies ready to lend a helping hand. The infrastructure in the country isn’t as advanced as in the city; the roads are not as well taken care of and it takes you, or it seems like, forever to get where ever you are going. Although neighbors live further apart, they seem to know each other better and are always there help whenever the circumstances call for it. Living in the country has proven to be a more relaxed way of life. These factors are pace of living, population, and transportation.
